For the structural analysis of turbomachinery Impact offers its BladePro™-AF and BladePro™-CF software packages. BladePro-AF is for the analysis of axial flow over a blade and BladePro-CF is for analysis of centrifugal (radial) flow impellers. Both software packages work with the ANSYS finite element program to provide the user with a simple way to build complex finite element models of turbomachinery. These powerful software packages cn conduct steady stress, natural frequency/mode shape, dynamic stress, and fatigue analyses. Either BladePro tool can import data from external sources and incorporate default material data for common impeller and steam turbine blade disk materials. BladePro-AF and BladePro-CF are used at any point in the design phase to provide critical analyses.
